Ceramic Shaft Assembly Compatible with Fluval 304, 305 ...

I recently purchased this replacement part for my FX4 filter. It fit perfectly which was a relief. However the moment I plugged in my filter one second it worked the overwhelming sign of relief was suddenly gone. It immediately stopped. So I did what any sane person would do & unplugged it & replugged it in. Surprisingly did not work. I hauled this heavy ass filter up my stairs once more to crack open the motor to figure out what went wrong. The tiny white stick that resembles a lollipop stick was broken. I was not taking my chance of having to repeat this process with the spare it came with. Instead I dug out the old one and just use the rubber tip. My filter is working wonderfully now. Hopefully in the future there will just be the option to order those tiny black rubber tips. I guess take you chance at ordering this product.
